Syndi Wilson

4th Grade Teacher

I began my teaching career in the Fall of 1980 after graduating from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.  I earned my Master's Degree in Learning Disabilities, also from Emporia State, in 1998.  Out of my 29 years of teaching experience, 15 of those years have been spent in a regular education classroom in grades 3 - 6.  The other 14 years I was an elementary special education teacher. I found my way to Moundridge Elementary three years ago when  my husband and I moved to Lindsborg.  I was the Elementary Special Education teacher my first year. After that, I became the 4th grade teacher.  This will be my second year at this position, and I can't wait to get started!

My husband Steve and I have been blessed with three wonderful children, a daughter and two sons.  We have also had the added joy of becoming grandparents.  We have a 4 year-old granddaughter and and a 2 year-old grandson. Needless to say, our weekends are very busy!
