October 16th - Please join your child for a meal in the school cafeteria to see the healthy (and delicious!) food we are serving every day. Learn how school meals are meeting new federal nutrition standards
and let us know what you think about our lunch program!

If you can attend, please contact your child's school by noon on Tuesday (10/15) so the kitchen can ensure enough food for students and parents.

USD 423 encourages parents, grandparents, and patrons to collect Box Tops for the Moundridge elementary and middle schools.  Last year MES raised $1214.50 and MMS another $1131.30 for additional activities and supplies.  Collecting Box Tops is a free and easy fundraiser anyone can participate in.  Simply check grocery packages and household supplies for the Box Top logo, cut or tear it off the package and drop it off at any school site.  For a list of items that support the Box Tops program go to http://www.boxtops4education.com/.  We appreciate your support.

Booster Club information can be found on our website under the 'Community' tab.

Sarah Ullom-Minnich competed at Nationals this June for the second time in her debate and forensics career and placed 8th overall. After securing a spot at the West Kansas National Qualifier in April, Sarah began to prepare for the long road ahead. After months of practicing she began preliminary competition in Birmingham Alabama, competing against 240 other students who were entered in International Extemporaneous Speaking. After six speeches Sarah advanced to the Top 60 and quickly made her way to Top 30 after the next rounds of competition. Her talent and hard work were celebrated when it was announced that she was a semifinalist, making her one of the Top 14 students in the country in her event. While she did not continue on to the final round, she was recognized on the National stage and was awarded 8th place. An impressive end to her high school career. Sarah Ullom-Minnich represented herself, her district, her state and her school with an admirable focus, drive and polish. The entire Moundridge debate and forensics team and the community wish her luck and success in her next adventure!
